Mission Accomplished: 5 Days Flying a Drone in Bayonne Drydock

Last week, I had the opportunity to work with Infratek Solutions https://infrateksolutions.com, providing professional drone services at Bayonne Drydock and Repair. Over the course of five days and 40 flight hours, we captured over 10,000 high-resolution images using a DJI drone, operating under some of the most challenging industrial conditions I’ve encountered.

📍 The environment:

Extreme summer heat
Constant noise from cranes, welding, and painting operations
Alert sirens and tight flight paths near massive concrete walls and structures

Despite the tough conditions and numerous obstacles, we completed the job safely, efficiently, and with zero incidents. The precision flying required full focus, technical skill, and experience—something I’m proud to bring to every project.
